Exact Exact Alliance Remote Data Collection (RDC) gives you an easy, reliable, and auditable system for end-of-the-year physical inventories, ongoing cycle-counts and work order kitting.
If you need to share information with customers and suppliers while you are on the road or your warehouse has a need to distribute information to other users, the Exact Alliance RDC module is your solution. It is simple to use and accurate. With it Exact Alliance users can automate the collection of information such as receiving material or shipping finished goods. Moving beyond bar-codes and improving accuracy.

We provide the RDC modules and the web service that allow you to run RDC over a wireless network. But the purchase of hardware is your responsibility.
You can choose to work with Exact Software's North American hardware reseller emkat for your RDC hardware needs or purchase the hardware on your own.
The handheld device operating system requirement is either Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 or Microsoft PocketPC 2003. Most devices out there will meet these requirements already. This flexibility will allow you to purchase entry level PDAs, like the Hewlett-Packard iPAQ for a few hundred dollars, or go all the way up to an industrial-strength Symbol barcode-scanning gun for several thousand dollars.
