Inventory Control

The Exact Alliance Inventory Control menu contains all the tools you need to maintain detailed inventory records. The inventory on-hand quantities, procurement and manufacturing lead times, order quantities, ordering multiples, safety stock quantities, and yield factors provide MRP the information it needs to plan and meet your demands on time. It also includes physical inventory and ABC analysis features so incremental, accurate cycle counts of expensive or often-used items can be done throughout the year. This reduces or even eliminates the need for work-disrupting annual counts.

Inventory Control Features:

  • Keep accurate perpetual inventory with physical and cycle counts
  • Print inventory tags and inventory reports
  • Control and consolidate information from multiple locations
  • Track lot and serial number (with shelf life)
  • Kit/de-kit (by line item, work order or subcontract purchase order) and run test picks on inventory
  • Track shortages
  • Flag Nettable/non-nettable inventory by stockroom
  • Apply multiple codes (Procurement/commodity, product, system-used-on, planning, order multiples)
  • Track purchasing, manufacturing, selling, and stocking unit of measures
  • Track lead-times and order modifiers
  • Track safety stock and lot sizing
  • Track year-to-date values
  • Perform cost roll-ups for each inventory item

"We have a complex manufacturing situation, but when we first started, it was relatively manageable. As we grew, so did our inventory, and we needed to find a solution that would give us the cost of the rides, and access to some 30,000 parts."
