Users are able to perform multi-dimensional analysis, slice and dice data sets, and drill down to additional detail, all using integrated On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) technology. This analytical functionality is available whether users are connected to the Internet or are working off-line.

Enterprise Deployment
GPS's Deployment function automatically generates and publishes customized, updated Information Views to business users. Information Views are user-defined, personalized views (OLAP cubes), with powerful data analysis, report-writing, and graphing capabilities, in a fully integrated, easy-to-use environment. Business users may receive personalized, updated information views on a pre-defined schedule via email, over a network, or by accessing a web page. This publication model provides timely access to business-critical information, utilizing existing business infrastructure to reach users wherever they are. It also reduces the burden on corporate systems by working off-peak and delivering highly customized information.

Security
GPS provides full application security, enabling administrators to define access down to the field level for multiple data types. Additionally, GPS security defines access to data-specific filters, such as sales territory, business unit, or location. GPS includes an easy-to-use application for security setup that does not require complex database security applications.
