Auto Create Job Code

Overview:

Your company would like the system to automatically generate a Job Code each time an OE Quote record is entered.

Proposed Solution:

A Flexibility enhancement will be created to automatically insert a Job Code record when a 'Q'uote is generated in Macola.

Detail of Requirements:

The enhancement will be attached to the Macola OE Order Entry screen (OE0101). When the user is entering a 'Q' type (Quote) order and tabs onto the 'Job No' field, this enhancement will automatically generate a Job Code and insert the new code into the 'Job No' field.

The Job Code created will be a 'Q' followed by the Quote. The Job Code Description will be the Quote Number plus the Customer Bill To Name (up to maximum number of characters allowed). All other fields will be the Macola defaults.
