The BCT Preactor Interface Module

A bi-directional interface between Exact Macola’s shop floor module and Preactor’s finite capacity scheduling system. Over two years in the marketplace. This module supports both Macola ES and Macola Progression (SQL).

Macola to Preactor - Reads information from Exact Macola’s Shop Floor, Inventory and Purchasing modules to create a schedule in Preactor.

• Shop Order Status
• Shop Order Operation Status
• Previously locked scheduled dates and times
• Operation Description
• Operation start and due dates
• Order Pegging
• Scheduled department and work center
• Planned labor, setup and machines hour
• Queue days
• FCS Start date and time, and end date and time
• Can create resources, resource groups and secondary constraints:
  • Depts. / Depts. & Work Centers / Machines
  • Depts. & Work Centers / Machines
  • Depts. & Work Centers
• Calculate earliest start date based on material availability
• Scheduling of outside processing
• Each operation of the shop order is shown on the schedule in it’s assigned resources
• The quantity remaining to be produced is shown on the schedule
• Process hours from the operations can be added to the schedule to provide a buffer between scheduled operations

Preactor to Macola - Updates the following information in Exact Macola’s shop order module:

• Shop order header start and due date
• Operation start and due dates
• FCS start date and time, and end date and time
• Locked operation status
• Dispatch priority
