Confirm Ship

Overview:

Your company uses the standard function in Macola to 'Confirm Ship' all items. You would like to automatically select confirm shipped items for billing.

Proposed Solution:

A Flexibility enhancement will be written to automate the 'select for billing' process for Confirm Ship Items.

Detail:

The Flexibility enhancement will be implemented on the standard Macola 'Confirm Ship' screen.

When the user processes a 'Shipping Entry' and completes the transaction, the Flexibility script will update the following fields to simulate the manual process of selecting the order for billing:

Order Header File (OEORDHDR_SQL)

Field Name Update From To
Status 7 8
Billed_Dt 0 Current Date (yyyymmdd)
Selection_Cd Blank S
Pre_Select_Status 1 7

Order Line File (OEORDLIN_SQL)

Field Name Update From To
Billed_Dt 0 Current Date (yyyymmdd)
Select_Cd Current Value S

Header and Lines will be updated only when Status is 7 (Shipped) and line items are found with Qty_To_Ship greater than zero.

All other processing will be done through Macola in the usual manner.
