Harvest Ventures – ES Universal Data Loader

Having trouble with the field names in ES? Our Data Loader Application gives you a great starting place with an export to Excel of the table structures including field names and data types from any table in SQL Server including all Macola ES tables. This information can then be used for application and report developers.

With the correct format in your Excel spreadsheets, our Loader will import this data directly in to Macola ES. This prevents the use of manual data entry and saves valuable time. It will also reduce the amount of data entry errors as you can validate the data right in the spreadsheet.

The Data Loader utility has many useful functions:

• Creates correct format Excel sheets for entry
• Adds or updates all ES tables from Excel spreadsheets
• Allows selective exports of ranges of records
• Identifies key Index fields and checks for duplication

The Loader gives much easier updates to existing data like your inventory files.

• Create an Excel spreadsheet with only the fields you wish to update from the Macola ES Item Master and/or Item location tables
• Create filters so that you can update one record or all of the Items in Macola ES
• Save your selections in a template file for use later
