KIT COPY CUSTOMIZATION

This makes it easy to create new kit structures by copying an existing kit structure and editing it instead of always starting from scratch. The application is simple to use and is deployed as a “Copy Kit” button on the kit master screen. Clicking this button brings up a custom screen with “Source” and “Target” drop–down–lists with a “Copy” button in between. The drop–down–lists ensure that users can only select those items set up as kits for “Source” or “Target”. Typically, the user would first set up the “Target kit” parent in item master with no kit structure and then use this tool to copy the kit structure of another.
