OE Alternate Description

Overview:

Your company maintains alternate descriptions for certain items in the Item Master 'Note 1' and 'Note 2' fields. During Order Entry, you would like the ability to choose to replace the default item description with these alternate descriptions.

Solution:

The existing OE Flexibility script(s) will be modified to add this function. When the user saves a line item and an alternate description exists, the program will prompt the user.

If the user selects 'Yes', the current description will be replaced with the alternate description.

Documentation of the Enhancement:

The above, defined enhancement specifications, which describe the enhancement as requested, shall act as the only documentation of this enhancement that will be supplied. Supplementary user documentation is available at an additional charge.
