Globe: Exact Software offers product configuration in Exact Globe Enterprise through an OEM relationship with Tacton Systems. Two alternative versions of Tacton Configurator can be integrated into Globe Enterprise: Tacton Light and Tacton Full. Tacton Light is a simplified version of Tacton with a basic user interface and functionality suitable for back end configuration. Tacton Full is a sales configurator with the full functionality of Tacton, which is typically required for manufacturers with robust configuration needs. Users who start with Tacton Light can also upgrade to Tacton Full.

Macola: For Macola users, the Tacton Configurator add–on complements the Macola Feature/Options Product Configurator and adds critical capability to meet advanced configuration requirements while being easy to maintain and update.

e–Synergy: The integration of Tacton Configurator and e–Synergy results in a comprehensive Business Process Management solution that enables businesses to more effectively sell make–to–order products and services across all sales and partner channels.

Adding Tacton to Exact Globe, ES, Progression or e–Synergy

Adding Tacton configuration capabilities will only require the normal staff required for such an installation (systems manager, web designer, etc). A separate tool, The Tacton Studio, allows for simple modeling and maintenance of configuration rules, no programming required.

The easy maintenance together with tight integration to Exact software translates into lower total cost of ownership of the configuration system.
